Indie Folk Americana Canadiana 101 - Vol. 11

This week features tunes from Hannah Green, Spencer Hoffman, Eliza Edens, Darryl Rahn, and more.

Album picks and reviews in ten words for the roots rock/indie folk/singer-songwriter scene.

Hannah Green - Panic Room Came for the songwriting, stayed for the guitar candy. Masterful.

Spencer Hoffman - Baby Blue Arrangement completely nailing the delicate balance between exciting and sparse.

Eliza Edens - I Needed You Effortlessly groovy. Desert-dry mix and a sneaky-good vocal.

Darryl Rahn - Company Delightfully tight song structure and a band that’s not overplaying.

Jakob Leventhall - Drunken Hapless Teens I rinsed this tune for a solid week. Great stuff.

Rolleston - Wings Such a great vocal melody. Pedal steel doing outstanding work.

Giant Killer Bats - Static Perfectly situates the early 2000s indie thing with folk rock.

Michigan Rattlers - Heaven Instantly sold on that pulsing synth part. Perfectly paced tune.
